Heritage Department

To all those who have contributed with their enthusiasm, work and Valencianismo to building our history.

The Heritage Department of the VCF Foundation, created in 2011, works to preserve the memory of the Club’s 107 years of history and to restore the rightful importance of its protagonists.

 As a result of its specialised work in recovering our heritage, the following initiatives have been brought closer to the fans to date:

  • 22 Fórum Algirós.
  • KM 0 · Origin of Valencianismo: discovery of the location of Bar Torino, the place where the Club was born.
  • The Origin: presentation of the Club’s Founding Act, dated March 1, 1919.
  • Location and presentation of the Club’s founding statutes, dated March 14, 1919. It was on the 18th when the Civil Government officially registered the Club’s constitution.
  • Restoration of the Club flag dated and blessed in 1924, displayed in the Mestalla VIP Box as part of the Tour. In collaboration with the Polytechnic University of Valencia Heritage Restoration Institute and the VCF Former Players Association (AF VCF).
  • Restoration of the fan (“palmito de Aldaia”) linked to the 1971, 2002 and 2004 leagues. In collaboration with the Polytechnic University of Valencia Heritage Restoration Institute.
  • VCF Urban Art Route.
  • Organisation and active participation in Centenary events: Civic March, Legends Match at Mestalla, Official Book, “Passeig 1919” around Mestalla, exhibition “Centenari: Un Sentiment Etern”.
